Consumers across the continent are hearing about the benefits of the maqui berry. Why is the maqui berry so important to the human body? Is it better than the acai berry? Why should I use maqui berry in my everyday regimen? These are questions health conscious people are recently trying to ascertain. When I first heard about the maqui berry, I spent quite awhile researching this super fruit.

First of all, the maqui berry is now the most powerful botanical anti-oxidant known to man. This purple South American berry has been used for centuries by the Mapuche Indians. They have been reaping the benefits of wellness and stamina this berry delivers to overpower their enemies and protect their tribe. The body needs an antioxidant to destroy the free radicals our normal process creates. Health is the most important entity we have in our lives. Without it, we have nothing, not even survival on this planet. All the money in the world can not buy life, so we have to invest in our future starting at a young age.

Another factor which increases free radical formation is the stressors we encounter in everyday living. Environmental factors along with the stressors of home, job and family all contribute to the enhanced production of free radicals. Since most consumers can not change these particulars, the situation must be addressed in a different form such as a supplement.

In conclusion, we have learned to identify the importance of antioxidants to our body.
There are more causes than I have outlined that can raise free radical production but I concentrated on the most common ones. The decision of increased health and vitality rests upon your shoulders. Frankly speaking, why would anyone choose an alternate route?

The acai berry is a small dark-purplish fruit that is slightly smaller than a grape. The acai berry is almost 90% seed, which is covered in a small amount of tasty fruit pulp.

However, even though the Acai may be small in size, it is packed with an amazing amount of nutrition!

Acai has been called the #1 Superfood by Dr. Perricone in his best-selling book The Perricone Promise and this little berry has also been commented on repeatedly by the world’s media ‘ from the chat show queen ‘Oprah Winfry’ to internationally recognised newspapers such as USA Today.

Probably the main reason acai berries have been hailed as a superfood is because they are packed with vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, C, and also vitamin E.
